THERAPY GROUPS
The Associates of Springfield Psychological offers a number of groups for clients who benefit from working with others. Giving and taking feedback from a group in a supportive environment can provide a wealth of information and encourage emotional growth. The normalizing of one’s thoughts and feelings by working with others who have similar issues can bring great relief to participants. Most groups meet on a weekly basis. An individual session with the therapist leading the group is required to decide if the group will be an appropriate experience for the client. Requests for a new group or a group with a specific topic will be considered and created if possible. Current groups and locations are:

Mondays 5:45 – 6:45 pm
Issues: depression, anxiety, school adjustment, family and parent
difficulties, socialization, peer problems, and life transitions.
