Irene Kolker, LCSW

Ms. Kolker received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Hunter College in 1978. She obtained her certificate in Family Therapy from The Family Institute of Philadelphia in 1986, and her certificate in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia in 1999.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ms. Kolker works with clients ranging from four years old through older adults, utilizing individual, couple, family, and group therapy modalities. Employing a Gestalt perspective, Ms. Kolker's areas of specialty include work with young adults establishing independence from family of origin, parents dealing with child-rearing stressors, parents dealing with a child's disability or medical problems, adults coping with medical problems or grief and loss, older adults dealing with issues of aging, and individuals dealing with depression.
